ArmorBall
The Home of 1v1 Soccer
One player. One opponent. Nowhere to hide.
What Is ArmorBall
Soccer strips down to its purest form when you take away the team.
ArmorBall is competitive 1v1 soccer — a format that removes the systems, the substitutions, and the places to hide that come with 11-a-side. There's no formation to lean on and no teammate to cover a mistake. Every touch, every decision, and every result belongs to you.
It's the truest test of a soccer player that exists: technical ability, physical dominance, and mental composure, all on display, all at once.
Why 1v1
Most of soccer is played in small moments that never make the highlight reel — a defender closing down space, an attacker trying to beat their marker, a player deciding what to do with the ball under pressure. ArmorBall isolates that moment and makes it the entire game.
Nowhere to hide. No system to disappear into, no teammate to bail you out.
Total athleticism rewarded. Speed, strength, agility, and touch all matter — specialization alone won't win.
Instant feedback. You find out immediately what you're actually capable of.
Built for growth. Coaches and scouts see a player's real decision-making, not a role inside a formation.
The Format
Two 7-minute halves, running clock
2-minute break at halftime and at the end of regulation
Target goal used to close out matches — no draws, one player advances
No slide tackling, sliding to get a ball or block a scoring opportunity is acceptable.
Dribble in from own goal line for all dead-ball restarts
Dribble-ins replace throw-ins
5-second rule keeps play moving — no time-wasting
Penalties taken from own goal line
Full Armor Cup Series
The Full Armor Cup Series is a year-round championship featuring four elite 1v1 soccer tournaments played on four unique surfaces: hardcourt, turf, dirt and grass. Each event challenges players to adapt their skills, compete with excellence, and prove they can perform in any environment. There are no teammates to rely on, no systems to hide in, and no excuses—just you, your opponent, and everything you've built. Competitors from all over battle for points throughout the series, testing their technical ability, physical dominance, and mental edge in the purest form of the game. The player who rises above every surface earns the title of ArmorBall Champion — the World's Most Complete Soccer Player. Four surfaces. One champion.

Rankings & Points System
Every Cup counts. Your performance across the series builds toward one title: ArmorBall Champion — the World's Most Complete Soccer Player. Four surfaces. One champion.
How Points Are Earned
Each of the four Cups (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall) is single-elimination — how far you advance determines your points for that event.
Champion: 200
Runner up: 120
Semifinalist: 80
Quarterfinalist: 50
Round of 16: 30
Round of 32: 15
First round exit: 5
Points are tracked separately by division (Men, Women, and youth divisions as they launch) — you're only ever ranked against your own bracket.
The Series Standings
Points from all four Cups are added together to produce the ArmorBall Rankings, updated after every tournament. You don't have to win every Cup to become champion — you have to be the most consistent competitor across all four surfaces.
ArmorBall Champion = highest cumulative points after Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall Cups.
Tiebreakers
If two or more players are tied in total points at the end of the series, ties are broken in this order:
Head-to-head result(s) between the tied players during the series
Most tournament championships won
Goal differential across all series matches
Penalty shoot out
Why It's Built This Way
A single tournament can be won or lost on one bad bounce. A points-based series rewards the player who shows up, adapts across four different surfaces, and performs consistently — the same model used by ranking systems in professional tennis and other individual sports. It's a fairer, more complete test of who the best ArmorBall competitor actually is.

Testimonials
Why I Created ArmorBall
I built ArmorBall to find the most complete soccer player.
Not the most talented on paper. Not the one with the best highlight reel. The most complete — the player who has put in the technical work and the physical work, and is willing to prove both with nowhere to hide. Take away the formation, the teammates, the system, and what's left is the truth about how good you actually are. That's what ArmorBall tests, every match.
But this was never just about finding good players. It's about connection.
Every tournament, every match, every handshake after a hard-fought game is a chance to meet someone else chasing the same thing — work ethic, growth, competition done right. ArmorBall is built to bring people together through the game, to compete hard against each other and walk away closer, not further apart. That's where the gospel gets to move — in the honest conversations that happen after two people have given everything they have on a small patch of grass, dirt, turf, or hardcourt.
Work hard. Play with joy. Let the competition be the thing that connects you to somebody else — and let that connection be the thing that points back to something bigger than the scoreline.
That's ArmorBall.
Faith First
