What Is The Full Armor Fitness League?

The Full Armor Fitness League is a daily challenge designed to push, motivate, and unite our athletes from all over. Every workout you show up for, every test you finish, every recovery day you complete, every skill you build—earns you points. Over the course of the year, your consistency, effort, and performance add up, keeping you accountable while giving you a chance to see real progress.

This isn’t just about finding the strongest athlete—it’s about creating a culture where everyone competes, everyone improves, and everyone belongs. Whether you’re chasing your first pull-up, improving endurance, or fighting for the top spot, you’ll be ranked alongside your fellow athletes throughout the year.

Each year culminates in the crowning of The overall Fitness League Champion, category winners (Men, Women, Boys U16, Girls U16, Men 50+, Women 50+) along with monthly weekly and daily winners recognized throughout the season. Along the journey, every athlete builds greater fitness, deeper community, and victories that extend far beyond the leaderboard.

At Full Armor Fitness League, we don't separate by age or gender - we compete together. Our programming ensures everyone gets appropriately scaled workouts, but we all chase the same goal: consistency, effort, and growth. A 60-year-old grandmother can outrank a 25-year-old athlete if she shows up more and works harder. That's real fitness. That's real community.

Why not separate divisions?

Most fitness competitions separate everyone - men vs women, young vs old, elite vs beginner. That creates silos. We believe real community happens when everyone competes together, appropriately scaled. Our programming ensures fairness - different weights, different modifications - but we all see each other on the same board. That's how we create a movement where a 60-year-old and a 25-year-old are training partners, not strangers. It's not about who's the strongest - it's about who's the most consistent, most dedicated, and most willing to show up.

How It Works:

  • The Full Armor Fitness League follows a structured five-day training rhythm—Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Each week is thoughtfully designed with purposeful variety to challenge every element of fitness. Active recovery is scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays, offering athletes the opportunity to recover, reset, and still earn points along the way.

  • All performances can be logged here to the weekly score sheet. Each workout will have a specific score to track and submit

  • Each week the leaderboard will be updated to show current rankings. Ranking will combine both men and women of all ages. There will also be rankings and winners every month (6 categories: Men, Women, Boys U16, Girls U16, Men 50+, Women 50+). As well as highlighting the the 5 performers each week.

  • Our point system is designed to reward consistency, effort, and performance across every workout.

    Workout Completion

    • Every athlete who completes a scheduled workout earns 10 points, regardless of placement.

    Active Recovery Participation

    • Athletes who participate in scheduled active recovery days earn 5 points for checking off that they completed the work.

    Workout Placements

    • Placement points are awarded based on the number of athletes competing in that workout.

    • If there are 20 athletes, 1st place earns 20 points, 2nd earns 19, 3rd earns 18, and so on, down to 1 point for the final placement.

    • This structure automatically scales to the size of the field, keeping competitions fair and competitive.

    • For load-based scored workouts we will separate the male and female athletes for point distribution.

    Rx vs. Scaled Divisions

    • Rx athletes are always ranked above Scaled athletes. There will be Rx variations for 50+ as well as 16 and under.

    • Scaled performances are ranked by placement.

    By combining participation points with placement points, the Full Armor Fitness League rewards athletes who show up consistently, put in the work, and perform well—without penalizing those focused on long-term progress.

Why This Matters:

Building A Clear Picture of True Fitness:

  • One of the hardest things to do is being consistent and this is also one of the most important pieces of achieving lifelong fitness.

  • Volume spread across a year is far better for the body than high volume in short durations.

  • This gives athletes to strategize and really attack a workout with everything they’ve got.

  • With the amount of test we can cover this truly gives us a clear shot of fitness

Getting Started

What to Expect

Each week you’ll receive league workouts designed to test a broad range of fitness skills—strength, endurance, power, agility, and more. Workouts can be completed anywhere, points are awarded based on performance and consistency. Expect both a competitive push and a supportive community cheering you on.

Equipment

Most workouts require only standard gym equipment (barbell, plates, pull-up bar, jump rope, dumbbells, etc.). Workouts will include options for limited or at-home equipment to ensure accessibility for everyone. So even if your traveling or have to modify the workout due to lack of equipment you will still earn points and a place on the leaderboard.

Scaling

Every workout can be modified to your ability level. Rx athletes will rank above scaled, but scaling ensures that all participants, regardless of fitness level, can safely complete the workouts and stay in the competition. Some workouts you might Rx some you might scale either way your still in the competition and will continue to grow daily in your fitness.

Scores must be submitted for each week by 5pm EST each Sunday. Videos may be requested for top performers or in the event of a scoring dispute to ensure fairness. Submit scores here

  • We’ll cover the following to get you ready for each workout.

    1. Breathing exercises: Prepare the cardiovascular system for physical activity

    2. Muscle Activation: Consciously activating muscles, both individually and collectively, to ensure full engagement.

    3. Range of Motion: Taking muscles and joints through their full range of motion to prime the body’s skeletal muscles, joints, tendons, and ligaments.

    4. Functional Movement Patterns: Practicing the seven functional movement patterns to prepare the body for any movements that may come.

    5. Movement Practice: Finish by rehearsing the specific movements involved in the upcoming workout or competition.

  • When programming each day we look at keeping the training stimulus broad and constantly varied while balancing the following: 10 physical skills, 3 energy systems, 3 modalities and 7 functional movement patterns.

  • 5 workouts per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday) plus active recovery on Thursday and Sunday. Constantly varied functional movements designed to test true fitness.

  • Every workout includes Rx standards for men and women, plus modifications for 16 and under/50+ and scaled divisions. Everyone can compete safely at their level.

  • We incorporate accessory movements with the purpose of isolating particular muscles with the goal of filling in any gaps an athlete might have due to previous habits or overcompensation.

    We also incorporate a short cool down which will be a static stretch and/or self myofascial release

  • See your ranking updated every Sunday. Track your total points combining completion (10 pts/workout, 5 pts/recovery) and placement points. One unified leaderboard - all ages, all genders, competing together.

  • Consistent, daily competition to build real fitness. Annual champion crowned, monthly winners recognized, and every athlete celebrated for showing up.
